This is a May 4, 1951 issue of “The Greyhound Racing Record.”
Some of the articles include:
* Rye Seed Wins All-Florida Championship
* Restorer, Imp. A Proven Sire
* My Career: (A Dog’s Life, But Not So Bad) by Curly
* And More
There are numerous kennel and track advertisements. There are also several pages of past performance charts included. Of interest, a full page ad for Sports Station WMIE – featuring a picture of Reggie Martin – Sportscaster for Sports Jamboree.
The publication is in good condition – inside and out. The outside cover has some wear to the edges and corners. Also the cover is split about three inches at the lower binding crease. The interior pages are clean with no dog-ears. The magazine has a crease throughout the publication where it was folded over at one time. It has been pressed flat, but is still visible.
