This is a great vintage cookbook titled “New Recipes for Good Eating.” The cookbook is a 1948 Crisco publication. Most of us don’t do much frying any more, but most of the book is for pies, cakes and other pastries.

The book is in very good condition – inside and out – especially considering it’s age. The soft cover is in good condition with some wear to the corners and binding edges. There are splits on both ends of the crease on the binding edge. The interior pages are very clean – no writing or dog-ears. The book has 112 pages including the index.
