This is a music book titled Sleepers, Wake! a Cantata for Soprano, Tenor and Bass Soli, Chorus and Orchestra by J. S. Bach (Cantata No. 140). The pianoforte accompaniment was arranged by Ebenezer Prout. The English translation is by Miss G. E. Troutbeck. It is believed that this work was written around 1742.

The song book is in good condition inside and out. There is some minor wear to the edges and corners of the cover. There is a name written on the upper right edge of the front cover. The interior pages are very clean with no dog-ears. There had been some light pencil marks on the interior pages that have been erased. The book has 44 pages.
