Here is an original Nippon hand painted basket made circa 1911-1921 Definitely not a reproduction. Hand Signed by artist R. Awoly or R. Awoby

Measurements: 8 inches long by 5 inches wide

Condition: Excellent, slight gold wear to handle

Mark: "M" standing for "Morimura" in a wreath, crowned by "Hand painted" and below, NIPPON (in green), most probably made by the Noritake Company.
