Arnout Van Gilst (1898-1982) - Netherlands (listed Dutch artist)
Original Oil Painting on canvas signed A. Van Gilst depicting the inside of an early 19th century kitchen. Brass plate inscripted "A. Van Gilst" on the front frame border. Painting is in excellent condition.
Frame is constructed in gold lacquered wood in typical European designs of scrolls, flowers and leaves. The back of the frame displays the numbers 11585, possibly denoting 1958. Condition is amazing - unharmed

This is an amazingly gorgeous painting which gives the feeling of being welcomed into the warmth of a friendly atmosphere that transfers a feeling of peace ... a quieter time .... truly an outstanding piece of art.
