Estate Sale Find. Small satin bag is completely covered in hand applied simulated pearls, and there must be hundreds. Bag is beige satin lined with a top metal zipper closure. It has a pearl zipper pull with a “Made in Japan tag sewn inside. With its scalloped top, weight, and the aged color of the pearls, I believe it to be from the 1940’s. This beautiful mug has the French Quarter buildings overlaid in gold around it. NEW ORLEANS is written around the bottom, and FRENCH QUARTER is in large lettering in a bright high quality gold overlay on a shiny black background. No cracks, chips, crazing, or scuffs. Pitcher is of high quality ceramic, glazed inside and out. The inside is white and hand painted on the outside with bright orange tomatoes and eggplants. The background shows purple brushstrokes in a random pattern with the handle painted yellow. There is a raised, decorative pattern around the top flair of the pitcher.
