Old A.S.R. lighter made in the U.S.A.

This old lighter was found in the junk box in mom and dads house when we started going through their things after mom passed. It is very heavy and looks like it would still work. I do not know how old it is , but dad stopped smoking in the late 1950's. It is about three inches long, one and three quarter inches wide and two and a half inches tall, in good condition.
