Lovely old hand carved rose brooch.

This was left to me and I have never worn it. I think it was an aunt of grandmothers. I do not know what it was made from, but it looks to be hand carved. It is a brown colored rose brooch. It has no marking and is in good condition. It is round and two inches across.
