THIS LOVELY VINTAGE LADIES COMPACT IS A BLUE Flowered Enameled one by Elgin American, the maker of elegant compacts. This one is square with pale blue enamel on the bottom, as well as top. It has never been used and condition of inside is very good with only some pale tiny specks slightly clouding the mirror. Outside has only a few scuffs, mostly on the bottom. SIZE is 2 3/4".

I don't think it has been used. There is evidence of someone writing their name at the top right hand corner and crossing it out. There is no copyright date, but I believe this is from the 1930's or 40's.
