ANOTHER STORY BY GENE STRATTON PORTER that is set in the usual northern Indiana country, near the Limberlost, and it offers the usual appeal of nature. Some reviews criticized the realism of Michael, a "newsie" small boy with a big, common sense, street philosophy of life, and an Irish wit. This copy was published by Grosset and Dunlap in 1916 and has a gray hard ...click for details
