THIS VINTAGE TOOL GUIDE BOOK IS ACTUALLY THE DISSTON SAW, TOOL AND FILE MANUAL. It is a nifty booklet showing the saws and tools that the Henry Disston and Sons, have been making for over a hundred years. It is likely from 1945 as that is the most recent dated picture. It also says 1840-1845, 105 years. The section with dates tells the Disston story and highlights. THESE TWO VINTAGE MATCH BOXES ARE THE SMALL SIZE WITH BRAND NAMES THREE TORCHES AND INDEPENDENCE SAFETY MATCHES. Both has 34 small wooded match sticks in them originally, but now have just a couple. Both are cardboard and condition of the Three torches is worn, but bright. The Independence one is better with less wear and is in pretty good condition.

THIS VINTAGE ADVERTISING FOR J C PENNEY Company is on a pencil tablet. The front cover of this writing pad is faded red with the name PEN-HI and J. C. Penney Co. Inc. listed as the seller. Cost was 4 cents printed on the tablet and price sticker. I'm uncertain of the age, but suppose 30's or so. SIZE is 5 1/2" X 9". CONDITION is fair with only a couple of sheets of paper left and a couple of tears at the top edge.
