THIS VINTAGE CROCHET PATTERN BOOK IS TITLED Old and New Designs in Crochet Work by Sophie T. LaCroix. Though there is no publication date, I believe it is about 1915 because of type of crochet work inside as well as dates of other book purchased at the same place and time. There are 32 pages of designs for curtains, dresser or chiffonier scarf, buffet scarf, pillow covers, bedspread, towel insertions, collars, edges, table mats, purse, tatting, handkerchiefs. THIS VINTAGE CROCHET PATTERN AND INSTRUCTION BOOK IS BY COLLINGBOURNE'S, the makers of superior crochet thread at the time. It has basic crochet stitches, plus directions for filet crochet, edgings, insertions, There are 30 pages. It was published in 1925. SIZE is 8" X 10". CONDITION is good. Someone placed a bit of beige paper tape on back edge at some time, though I don't think it was necessary. Corners are worn and bent a bit.
