SATSUMA Teapot with Peacock

THIS LOVELY HANDPAINTED TEAPOT HAS THE SATSUMA LOGO ON THE BOTTOM. The rust band around the lid and at the base are such elegant accent for the colorful PEACOCK who sits amongst the flowers on both the front and back. SIZE is 5" in height and 5" diameter. There is a bamboo handle that is wired to the holes in the PORCELAIN. They actually stick up above the teapot. The lid is small, about 2 1/2", and also has painted flower on it. CONDITION is very good. There does not appear to be any chips, though there is some age related crazing.
