Antique Early 1900's Woolworth Crochet Patterns

THIS MANUAL OF CROCHETING IS a vintage crochet instruction and pattern book from the early 1900's. It is from Series No. 5 by M. E. Fitch. Dated 1915, it was sold at F. W. Woolworth Co.'s Stores. It was one of the latest popular crochet books, tatting and cross stitch designs. There are 30 pages of projects to include: Runner for library of dining room, Runner or scarf, bedroom slipper, luncheon set, corner of edging for crocheted bedspread, scarf in cross stitch embroidery, fringe for sofa pillow, knot stitch bag, crochet work bag, purse, infant's carriage robe, tennis girdle, D-oyley (french spelling for doily, until we changed it), baby's rattle, marine sofa pillow, medallion, table mats, nursery laundry bag, baby's cap, kimona or combing jacket, guest bath towel, wash cloth, bath mat, edging. All in all a great book, in good condition with some wear on the cover, couple short tears at cover edges, but very nice inside.
