I have lots of "loves" in my life and enjoy many past-times. My husband and I have been collecting since when we married over 35 years ago. We have lots of fun browsing and searching for things we personally collect and selecting things that others might collect. We have lots of finds in our home that we've picked up over the years. We are parents of 1 daughter who is married to a wonderful "son"-in-law and they have our world's best "grandson" who we adore. He loves his Papa and tolerates Nana's "projects". We also have a love for parrots, dogs, and cats. We have a Blue and Gold Macaw, Murpheybird, an African Grey, Rudie, and a Cockatiel, Sydney. They are big talkers and lots of fun. Murphey helps me with my listings. We also enjoy our Boxers, Sadie & Daisy. Cassie is our 13 yr old Rat Terrier that rules the household, but Annie, the 8 month old Dachshund, tries to help her.
I enjoy cross-stitching, growing african violets, orchids, begonias, irises,and ferns. I also love to work on genealogy and scrapbooking. My personal collections include parrot and bird figures,jelly glass tumblers from the 50's, kitchen items from the 50's mostly in primary colors, tablecloths from the 50's. I collect Red Birds, iris figures, bunnies and rabbit figures.I really enjoy the old I Love Lucy episodes and old black and white movies, especially comedies. I am a nurse and my husband is a police officer and we both enjoy our work very much. Our chosen professions have been lifelong and we like helping people. My husband is very supportive of my endeavors and we enjoy looking for collectibles together. We both have jobs in public services to better mankind.
