Ty Beanie Baby, Courage, with the American Flag on the right front shoulder. He is brown/tan in color and has black plastic applied eyes and nose. Toes are stitched. He has his tush tag intact but does not have his hang-tag. This is a nice quiet Patriotic collectible to set out to celebrate the season or add to your dog collection. I like using my collected stuffed items seasonal for decorative purposes and my grandson thinks that Nana is so cool because she still plays with toys.

Excellent vintage LIFE magazine dated Nov 19, 1965 with a very interesting account about the Nov 9 Blackout in New York City as well as a sports section featuring Cassius Clay alias Muhammad Ali boxing against Floyd Patterson. There is also an interesting article about computers as they were then, and an article about the Smithsonian Institute. Lastly there are numerous great graphics of the time and advertising.
Life Magazine dated Feb 10, 1967 featuring The Nation's Goodby To Astronauts Grissom, White, and Chaffee. The picture on the front of the issue is Gus Grissom's caisson at Arlington. There is also a very nice article with graphics of Oklahoma born Adelle Donen who leads US take over of British social life. Then there is a very sad and controversial story about Danny Rutledge, son of carl Rutledge, who at 11 years of age did a free fall and his parachute did not open. This magazine is vintage but in very good condition. This particular issue is part 4 of Life in the White House How 'White Housitis' affected J F K and his family and his friends by Arthur M Schlesinger Jr. The top of the magazine has a stain that is visible thru out the magazine that looks like it got wet. Sleek and beautiful jungle cat. It is either a panther or a tiger. I think it is a tiger but it comes from the same era of the black panther TV lamp/lights. The back is a pocket planter. This is NOT a wall pocket but rather sits on a table top and would look awesome with a varigated ivy plant. The inside of the pocket is glazed so it could easily be a rooting tank for startings and cuttings. The water would not seep out onto a table top.
Lovely 2 piece Amber fairy lamp displayed. This will hold a nice size candle or the containers of oil such as on a patio with citronella. The pattern is vintage 1950-60's Stars and Bars although this probably was manufactured in the 70's due the the color. Anchor Hocking produced and marketed the dimestore pieces of the 50's and 60's. Beautiful, sleek, shiny Television lamp from the so popular 1950's when TV's became all the craze. Everyone who was anyone had a television with a Lamp sitting pretty on top. I wasn't "anyone". Vintage 1970 Better Homes and Gardens 5 ring binder cookbook. Excellent condition for the binder. It looks like all pages are present but there are several that have pulled out of the rings of the binder. This would be easily repaired. The photos are very bright and fresh looking but are definitely dated for the 1970's decor. There are 18 tab dividers and allows for adding more of the Better Homes and Gardens pages.
