I have listed several bird figurines but this is my favorite. Two beautiful hand painted yellow with black birds resting on a base of green leaves and pink flower buds. It is marked on the bottom with the capodimonte mark of a N underneath a crown. Incised in the mold is also Made in Italy. It measures 4 inches high by 8.5 inches across and is in mint condition. This yellow bird porcelain bird was produced by Gerold & Co. of Bavaria Germany. The company has been producing fine porcelain since 1937. This piece is marked on the bottom with their logo and "Gerold Porzellan Bavaria" in green and also "Germany" in gold. It also has incised the number 6122. This mark identifies it as being made in about 1961. It measures 5 inches high by 4.5 inches across. Condition is mint. From Hornsea Pottery came this cute bud vase. It bears the 1950's early Hornsea Pottery mark with the horn & waves. Marked "Fauna Hornsea Pottery reg/d England Royal". Also incised on the bottom is number 48 and on the back the name "Bushy". A series of these animals were produced in the late 1950's to early 1960's.
