Fine English Bone China cup and saucer by Shelley. Pattern number is 13454. Backstamp dates this set between 1942 and 1966. This shape is called Cambridge and the pattern is Rock Garden. And just what the pattern implies are beds of flowers in a garden of rocks. My photo does not show the pale green inside of the cup as it should but both handle and cup inside are that color. I consider Shelley to be the Cadillac of fine bone china. The pale green saucer and the floral pattern in the center is also repeated on the cup with the flowers on the base and the pale green along the top half. Gibson & Sons was well known for their tea and coffee pots. They were in business from 1885 to 1972. The marking on this pot dates this piece to the 1920's to 1930's. It has a very beautiful light blue background with a floral and leaf design on both sides in gold and white. Gold also is on the spout, handle and lid top. A rare demitasse coffee pot by Grosvenor China in the Ye Olde English fruit pattern with yellow and blue insets. Markings on the bottom read "Ye Olde English Grosvenor China Jackson & Gosling Longton England". Jackson & Gosling were only in business until the mid 1960's. A simple but beautiful design of fruit and blue and yellow trim at the top. All the gold trim, design and coffee pot are in excellent condition.

This teapot is marked "Gibsons Staffordshire England" ans also incised with "Quantock Gibsons England". An off white background with a pink floral display on both sides and a lot of gold trim. The teApot measures approx. 7 inches high by 9 inches across. Condition is excellent as it appears it has never been used although it does have crazing especially on the side that was photographed.
