These are 6 very desirable canape plates from France by Philippe Deshoulieres. Each have a different fruit design. They are new old stock. Each plate is mint but the box has some wear. These canape plates came in many different designs and sell in high end department stores for $60.00 retail. Each measure 5-3/4" across. This is a very unusual vanity set. I would say one of a kind. Look at my photos as it appears that all the pieces were painted by the same artist. Here is the difference. The tray is marked with the logo of Moritz Zdekauer of Austria and signed by the artist S.G.Doherty, the small trinket bowl has the Bernardaud & Co.
