This is a charming antique RS Germany china condiment jar complete circa 1910 +. This tenderly gold trimmed covered bowl with hand painted design of delicate roses is typical of this company. Many of these RS pieces were shipped as blanks and painted elsewhere. This piece measures 4.25" across x 3" tall and 3" deep. This is a very beautiful trivit or tray with pink and white flower design bearing the famous Reinhold Schlegelmilch mark of a wreath with star and letters RS Germany. This mark dates the piece to about 1910. If held to the light in a certain angle there are some scratches that are visable. The trivit measures 6 3/8 inches across and is 5/8 inch high.
