Offering this beautiful vase in a delicate white porcelain with hand painted floral design in front and back. Held to the light you can see right through this excellent quality porcelain. The top and base both have in the mold a design of scrolls and flowers. This is accented with a gold trim that is mostly worn off. Rare old imperial small dish, hand painted. Beautiful example of early Nippon that dates prior to 1921. Green tones with raised dots and flowers all hand painted. Marked in blue stamp on the back with mark #38 "Imperial Nippon Hand Painted" with the Nippon logo. Measures 3.25" across by 1.25" high. Condition is excellent. No cracks or chips. An excellent example of Nippon in this mayonnaise bowl with ladle. Yellow trim around the inside top edge of bowl and ladle and gold design all of which are in near mint condition. The bowl measures 4 5/8 inches across and 2 1/8 inches high standing on the three round legs. The ladle is 5 inches long by 2 inches across at the cup portion.
