ERWIN POTTERY IS THE MARK ON THIS COOKIE JAR. Erwin Pottery is a mark used by Negatha Peterson, a former Southern Potteries artist. She is famous for her Southern Potteries items and most of all her Mammy Cookie Jar. This is one of her signed creations. All hand painted and in mint condition. Also included and also in mint condition are the matching salt & pepper. These are also signed with her initials. The cookie jar measures 11" x 7". Offering this colorful McCoy Granny cookie jar. Produced by McCoy Pottery in early 1970's granny measures 11 inches high by 8 inches across. Marking on the bottom is very faint and difficult to see but reads "USA 159". Condition is mint as it appears to have never been used. Shipping weight is approx. 10 pounds. This original cookie jar was produced by Shawnee Pottery Co. of Zanesville, Ohio which operated between 1937 to 1961. During the 1940's & 50's were the most production of their famous cookie jars. Incised in the mold on the bottom is "Patented Muggsy U.S.A." It is in excellent condition free from any defects. He measures 11 1/4 inches tall by 8 inches across.

A very unusual mouse cookie jar that is definitely vintage as it is very heavy in weight as was the case in most all older jars, but I am unable to identify the maker as there are not any markings on it. It was well made and weighs almost 5 pounds and is in excellent condition. It measures approx. 8 inches high by 10 inches across. If you collect cookie jars I guarantee you will own a rare one. This is an adorable raccoon cookie jar that was put out by Fitz & Floyd. It is marked on the bottom "Fitz & Floyd Inc. MCMLXXX FF", which dates it as 1980. It is approx. 10 inches high by 7 inches across and is in excellent plus condition.
