This is a fabulous centerpiece bowl from the Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik Co. of Geislingen Germany. Hallmarked "WMFM zg". I date this piece to approx. 1890. The floral design on the plate is beautifully done in 3 rings and the applied handles have an angle with wings design. If the handles are original to the piece is unsure on my part as they are applied with screws. In any event a most interesting and beautiful piece free from any defects or plate loss...

A rare silverplate treasure from an early Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas. It is marked on the back "Wm. A. Rogers Hotel Plate Oneida Ltd. CAESARS PALACE". I have not seen one of these before and can only estimate that they are pre 1970 or earlier. The pattern and the overall weight of the fork would indicate that time period. It is a heavy piece in very fine condition and measures 7 1/4 inches long. If you collect casino items this is a must.
