Vernon Kilns of California produced this beautiful pattern called Home Spun between 1949 and 1958. This is a large pitcher with ice lip with off white background and rust, green and yellow stripes. If you collect teapots, Franciscan Cafe Royal is a very hard to find teapot with both pieces. I assume they did not make many of this pattern as very little information is known about when it was first produced. I can only guess it was about 1941 when apple and desert rose came on the market. It has the script style F which is the abbreviated U.S.A. mark that identifies this piece as Franciscan dinnerware dishwasher and microwave safe. It is in excellent condition. Franciscan Desert Rose pattern 1/4 pound butter dish & cover. It has the early mark that dates the piece between 1953 & 1958. It measures at the base 7 1/2 inches across by 3 1/2 inches high including the rose bud. It is in perfect condition with bright sharp colors and not showing any signs of wear.

Homer Laughlin issued this set in 1996 honoring 60 years of the Fiesta line. It is in the color turquoise and is in mint condition. The disk pitcher is marked on one side "Still Proudly Made By The Homer Laughlin China Co. Genuine FIESTA 60th Anniversary 1936-1996". There are 4 glasses with the set.
