Offering this 22" Saucy Walker walking doll made by Ideal Doll Co. in the 1950's. With brown hair in the original braiding, sleep eyes that work perfectly and open mouth with 2 front teeth showing. I believe this is a pre 1980 Seminole Doll. It has the simple decorations which is common for that period. These dolls are still made and sold at the Seminole stores in South Florida but are now made with more elaborate trimmings. It also has the old style beads. Mego was better known for their action figures but they also made dolls. This is one of their creations that did not produce any great sales. For that reason it is a rare find and especially never out of the box. Doll is mint but box has seen better days. She has a hard plastic body with soft rubber head. The Wal-Feld Co. of New York made these beautiful musical dolls about the 1940's until 1950's. She is hard plastic with sleep eyes and a maroon and gold gown. Although taken out of the box at some time I do not believe she was ever played with. Very similar to the early sweetheart dolls except she is on a metal base that is her music box.
