Beswick located in Longton, Staffordshire, England produced a fine porcelain product very similar in look and quality to Royal Doulton, from the 1930's to present when bought out by Royal Doulton. This is one of their very early pieces from the Dickens series. It bears the 1930's mark "Beswick Ware made in England". Also incised in the mold is the number "281" and the name "Tony Weller". From Hornsea Pottery came this cute bud vase. It bears the 1950's early Hornsea Pottery mark with the horn & waves. Marked "Fauna Hornsea Pottery reg/d England Royal". Also incised on the bottom is number 48 and on the back the name "Bushy". A series of these animals were produced in the late 1950's to early 1960's.
