I think pins of this nature are what jewelry was supposed to look like. Sparkling rhinestones to resemble flowers. Popular in the late 50's and early 60's this hinged clamper cuff bracelet has Opalescent like glass semi-translucent cloudy green beads that have a glow to them that moves as the bracelet moves. One of the early signed "Weiss" pins no copyright mark which dates this piece 1942 to 1954. Weiss made many of these round pins that look like a snowflake design. Well known for their quality rhinestones and often compared as to the equal of Eisenberg. This dainty adorable pin/brooch has a trombone/tube clasp. This style clasp was mainly used in Europe from 1890 to early 1900's. This beautiful ballerina pin/brooch was produced by the Pell Jewelry Co. They began their operation in 1941. I estimate this piece to have been produced approx. late 1950's.
