This offering is a heavy metal dog image nutcracker. Weighs almost 7 pounds. The dog is 2 metal sections that are screwed together with the tail mechanism that opens the bottom section of the dog mouth. The final dog figure is screwed to a 7.5" x 3.5" base. The metal has been silver or nickle plated. It is not signed but has the numeral 3 on the bottom. Dog measures 11" long x 4.5" high x 1.75" deep. Circa estimate 1950's or earlier. This vintage ice cream scoop was made in Canada from about the 1930's. It is marked on the trigger plate "Fisher made in Canada Orillia Ont.". Part of Ont. is worn out. Only the O and part of the N are visible. It measures 10 inches long and is very fine cosmetic and working condition.

In 1939 this adorable pair of salt & pepper pots were first introduced by the Beswick Co. This series lasted until 1973 and was modeled by Mr. Watkin. From the Dickens characters Sairey Gamp for the pepper & Mr. Micawber for the salt. They are in excellent condition. They do however have some age crazing.
