Made by Hammersley & Co. of Longton, Staffordshire, England this pair of bird salt & pepper shakers have beautiful red roses all around their white background. They are marked "Hammersley & Co. Bone China Made in England", with a crown in the middle that dates them to between 1912 and 1939. They each measure 2 1/2 inches long by 2 1/8 inches high and 1 5/8 inches deep. Rare and unusual salt and pepper nodders by Fitz & Floyd. The base looks like a piece of swiss cheese and the two little mice nodders are the salt and pepper. They are marked on all three pieces Fitz & Floyd 1980. The mice measure 3 3/4 inches high by 2 inches across and the cheese is 4 1/4 inches across by 2 inches high by 2 1/2 inches deep. condition.
