Great vintage bookends produced by the Connecticut Foundry. Located in Rocky Hill, CT, they produced a line of sand cast metal bookends that had a distinctive style characterized by very soft details and only in iron. Their line of bookends went out of production sometime between the Great Depression and the beginning of World War II. This pair of an English Galleon are dated 1928 and are marked with the Foundry logo of a "C" inside a triangle inside a circle. They also have the number "927"...

Offering this large Tole Tray measuring 22.75" x 16.5". Showing an array of 9 roses and 6 buds growing on a vine on a background light green. Has some color fading and paint loss but not significant for a piece that should date between the 1940's and 50's. That is what I call patina that enhances the beauty of the age. I am not sure but the rose detail and tray are probably European. It is free from any dents, damage or excessive wear...

Offering these very old brass candle holders circa late 1800,s. Not able to determine exactly when produced or by who. Evidently one had come apart from deterioration of the old connection method and had to be glued. There is a small rod that goes thru the whole holder that holds the pieces together as was the case for these very old holders. The other is all original. Great set measuring 11" tall x 4" across at the base. Condition is excellent...
Great old school teachers brass bell. I remember when I was a kid and all the Catholic Nuns Teachers had one on their desk. This is definitely one from that era of the 1940's. Measures 8.5" tall and 4.75" at the base. Some of the black paint around the handle is crackling and it does appear as if someone has touched up the handle. Well made example of the American Eagle in this vintage cast metal Door Stop/ Book End. The gold coloring has mellowed to a golden brown and except for a couple small chips on the stars and stripes design it is in exceptional condition. It has the stamped number of "665" in the back. Measures 7.5" tall by 5.5" across. The base is 2" deep. I estimate the age as prior to 1950. In excellent plus condition.
A great example of an early hand painted tole silent butler. Dark green background with beautifully painted floral design in the center. There is a gold random shaped outer edge. It measures 8 1/2 inches across by 10 inches with the handle and is in excellent condition as the painted flower area is free from any worn spots. There is some minor area of the inside that has started to rust through the paint but only minor.
