These are the finest set of Chargers that I have ever come across. Produced by Heinrich & Co. The backstamp dates about the 1930's. I have 10 and all are in mint condition as they have never been used. They are exquisite with a double band of encrusted gold, green boarder outlining the delicate gold design. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this piece of belleek originally held a candle. It was issued with a candle inside but obviously the candle has been used in this piece. It resembles a rag style purse and measures 2 3/4 inches high by 3 1/2 inches across. It has marked on the bottom the early green belleek of ireland mark. Condition is excellent.
