Only in business for a short time, from 1941 to 1957 was this company Gonder Ceramic Arts of Zanesville, Ohio home of other famous potteries. They were known for their high quality double glaze technique and duplication of old Chinese museum pieces as this vase clearly shows. It is impressed on the bottom J-69 Gonder U.S.A. In the Wildflower pattern is this cornucopia shaped vase by Hull Pottery. The piece is in their famous matte finish and Hull Art name that was produced between 1917 and early 1950's. The bottom is marked with raised embossed lettering reading "Hull Art U.S.A. W-7-7 1/2. The pattern is the same on both sides. In the Wildflower design is this centerpiece by Hull Pottery. The piece is in their famous matte finish and Hull Art name that was produced between 1917 and early 1950's. The pattern is different and has only one flower on the reverse side. The bottom is marked with the raised embossed letters that read "Hull Art U.S.A. W-21-12. Here is a small cream and gold trim vase by Hull. It has a different flower design on the other side. It is in their Hull Art era that was produced between 1917 and the early 1950's. The piece has a gloss finish and is 5 1/2 inches high by 4 1/2 inches across. Marked on the bottom "U.S.A.Hull Art H-2-5 1/2". It is in mint condition. In the Autumn Foliage design pattern is this 1 pint pitcher number 15 that I am offering. This pattern consists of the 2 clusters of 4 brown leaves. Marked on the bottom "Watt 15 Made in U.S.A." it is free from any damage but there is a section (see my photo) on the backside near the handle where an area the size of a dime was missing the glaze when the piece was fired. A rare find with the chrome bakelite handled base is this covered casserole that was produced by Paden City Pottery. They were in business from 1914 to 1963 in Paden City and factory near Sisterville West Virginia. Not very often do I find old yellow ware bowls this large without any damage to speak of. First of all it measures 10 3/4 inches across and is 5 3/4 inches high. I am showing an area of the coloring band that has been smeared. This was done by someone prior to being put in the kiln and is right in the mold. There are a couple of very small chips on the underside of the rim (see my photos).
