Up for your consideration is this very old Spatterware Bowl. This one measures just over 5" across,a size that is rare to come by. The colors are a blue and brown on a cream or beige background. The bowl has a very fine hairline on the inside that does not go through to the outside. I have taken my photo so the hairline is in the dead center of the back portion of the bowl. Overall condition is very good. See all the many other great listings I have for your consideration.

Not very often do I find old yellow ware bowls this large without any damage to speak of. First of all it measures 10 3/4 inches across and is 5 3/4 inches high. I am showing an area of the coloring band that has been smeared. This was done by someone prior to being put in the kiln and is right in the mold. There are a couple of very small chips on the underside of the rim (see my photos)...

This vase or sometimes called utensil holder is marked on the bottom "McCoy U.S.A.". Also in the mold is the number 150 and a logo LLC. In 1974 McCoy was sold to the Lancaster Colony Corp. which accounts for the logo LLC. This arrangement did not last very long as a change was made again in the 1980's. For that reason not many pieces with the LLC logo were produced. I have only seen this mold in a spongeware pattern. This floral design which is on both sides is very difficult to find...
