Very attractive knot like design on these Mexican sterling(925) clip-on earrings. They will hang with the gold wash section on the bottom and they resemble, in my complex imagination, a twisted lock of hair. They are beautiful with the silver & gold. Mexican 925 Sterling clip-on earrings. Big & bold they remind me of a hermit crab shell. Marked "Mexico 925 TG-116". This type of identification was used starting in the late 1970's. The T stands for Taxco and the G for the first initial of the last name of the silversmith. The earrings measure 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" and are in excellent condition. Circa approx. 1980's. Offering this French Hallmarked silver dish. Both Minerva hallmark & lozenge makers mark are impossible for me to scan. Appears Minerva hallmark has the "1" in front of the forehead identifying the piece as 950 silver. The lozenge has the markers initials as AG but can maybe be AC.
