Rare bronze medal of the Normandie luxury liner and a souvenir of a sailing to Rio de Janeiro in 1938. Built by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique, in St. Nazaire, France. She began service in 1935 and was the largest and fastest ship ever to be built. Her interior was a work of art for example the main dining room was decorated in hammered glass and bronze with Lalique fixtures. The medal measures almost 2.75 inches across and .25 inches thick. Souvenir booklet from the 1934 Chicago World's Fair. It contains a fold-out of 8 cards with colored drawings on both sides for a total of 16 pictures of the fair. There is a picture of the Hall of Science, Chrysler, General Motors and Ford Buildings, Enchanted Island, Avenue of Flags, Fort Dearborn and Travel & Transport Building to name 8 of the 16. From the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games is this collectible swatch watch. It is a ladies watch with gold band and showing the olympic logo and 1996 date. The gold dial has 24 olympic logos around the outside edge and 12 logos around the center. Comes in the original package.
