My scan was unable to show the markings on this Slim Line Zippo lighter from 1961. It reads in black lettering "Governors' Conference 53rd Annual Meeting Honolulu, Hawaii June 25-28, 1961". All the lettering is in black and complete. The only reson I can give for it not showing up is that the lighter has a polished finish and I have had this same problem with others similar. A Slim Line Zippo lighter No.1610 High Polish produced in 1968 and mint in mint box. These lighters were produced with an area to receive a monogram. I am sowing lighter and box cover. My scan, due to the high gloss of the lighter is difficult to see but I assure you it is mint with a simple but very attractive design. A Slim Line Zippo lighter that was produced in 1972 bearing the Sagittarius logo and marked "Sagittarius Nov.23-Dec.21". It has been used but is still in excellent condition. My scan had difficulty in picking out the markings on the lighter but they are whole and complete. I am also showing the cover of the box (which has wear and I am not sure if it is original) and the famous Zippo guarantee. A Slim Line Zippo lighter dated 1975 advertising New Mexico. It is marked "Land of Enchantment New Mexico". It also has what I think is a prairie bird engraved on it. I do not know why my scan do not show the bird or the words New Mexico which are in black and complete. I believe it is because of the high polish of the lighter. This Zippo lighter bears the patent number that dates it between 1942 and 1952. It advertises a trucking company "E.L.Farmer & Co." of Odessa, Texas that has been in operation from about the early 1930's. This lighter has seen many years of use but is still in very fine condition. Parts of the brass colored coating have worn away. This ship was launched on Oct. 8, 1955 and during the course of its' sevice saw much action. The reverse has the logo of this ship.
