Offering this 4 fold 12" Carpenter's Caliper Rule. Ivory with German Silver framing and brass hinges. I can only make out that it marked on the ivory No. 99-1/2 & STEPPED and on the silver frame Chicago but cannot make out any other. It is in very good condition. It has a very small piece missing on the front near bottom. This old padlock is marked on the lock and key "Shoreham". The lock is also marked 1939 and the key additional markings of "M ST P&S SM". Although my research did not definitely prove it, I believe that this lock came from the Adur area of England. It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches across.
