Here is an unusual, not often seen item. The vintage surveying tool reads "Caldwell Boxfinder Made in USA Geo A Caldwell Co. This old padlock is marked on the lock and key "Shoreham". The lock is also marked 1939 and the key additional markings of "M ST P&S SM". Although my research did not definitely prove it, I believe that this lock came from the Adur area of England. It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches across.
