Offering this Victorian hairpin box made of wood with an inlay of carved wood design and either composition or ivory scalloped diamond shaped section. The wood I believe is ebony. What amazes me is the hinge which is the full length of the box and appears to have alternating sections carved out of both the top and bottom then attached and a pin going through both sections.
