Offering this great looking beautiful lucite purse from the 1950's. It is octagon (8 sided) in shape with a clear top and handle with the designed cuts sharp and clean. It has a silver toned clasp and the lucite in the bottom section black with swirls that give it the look of marble. Offering this older vanity tray with a beautiful design of a larger center rose and 4 other smaller roses with leaves and branches on both ends. The tray measures 17 inches long by 8 1/4 inches wide and the gold gilt and tray are in excellent condition. The mirror is also very fine but does have some very minor marks that do not distract. It has the number 12 on the back.

Marked on the inside of the top flap on this vintage alligator purse is "Made in Cuba". These purses were very popular in the 1950's until the alligators became an endangered species. It has stayed in remarkably excellent condition only showing some wear on the strap. The prior owner had not used it for over 30 years as it rested in the closet.
