Enid Collins created these whimsical box bags in Medina, Texas in 1959 until about 1970 when it was purchased by the Tandy Leather Corporation. This wooden box bag is called Glitter Bugs and is hand decorated with paint, sequins and rhinestones with butterflies and bugs. Vintage lucite clutch purse from the 1950's. It has a scalloped side opening cover that is on a gold toned spring hinge. The whole purse is covered with Navette shaped cuts in the lucite.
