Originally purchased at an estate sale at a private home. The previous owner was a collector of this type of ethnic art that had been brought back from trips to Africa.

A truly elegant Dolphin art glass sculpture by the famous italian creators of this well known and prized Murano glass. Here we have a round desktop Barracat Paperweight. Different design but very adaptable to office work. There a 4 hollowed out areas where small objects can be placed. Measures 4.75" across x 1.5" high. Etched on the bottom is the Baccarat France logo. It has a very small bite on the bottom rim. Offering this apple shaped clear crystal paperweight with New York etched in the class. It has a cluster of bubbles in the glass. On the base is a very small partial chip. In other words it has a small crack that has not separated. Cannot be seen in the normal sitting position. Measures 2.25" tall by 2.5" across. An earlier piece of Murano when gold flecks were still used. Clear glass with an abstract green design and gold flecks spattered about. In a triangular shape it measures approx. 9 1/2 inches by 8 inches at the widest points and is 3 inches deep. A heavy piece weighing 3 pounds. I guess it can be used as an ashtray but also a server of nuts and candy etc. I would estimate it to date back to before 1980. It is in excellent condition with some minor use marks on the small bottom resting area...

Offering this beautiful hand painted on brass figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The detail is fantastic. The oval section with the painting measures 3.5" x 3" and with the frame 5" x 5". The gold section at the frame top may have had something in it but I cannot be sure of this. The detail is so fine that my camera or scan cannot show the real beauty of this piece.
