An earlier piece of Murano when gold flecks were still used. Clear glass with an abstract green design and gold flecks spattered about. In a triangular shape it measures approx. 9 1/2 inches by 8 inches at the widest points and is 3 inches deep. A heavy piece weighing 3 pounds. I guess it can be used as an ashtray but also a server of nuts and candy etc. I would estimate it to date back to before 1980. It is in excellent condition with some minor use marks on the small bottom resting area...

A pre 1960 vintage piece of Murano art glass shaped like a duck. This piece has heavy amounts of gold flecks in the glass which was not used or very sparingly used after 1960. This beautiful, ruby red with applied clear glass handled basket was made by the Viking Glass Co. which was in existence from 1944 to 1970. They produced a line of Scandinavian style art glass in New Martinsville W. Virginia. This basket with a very fine rim in amber has often been mistaken for Georgian Fenton (1930's) and may have been made by Fenton for Viking Glass as they were located just a few miles apart on the Ohio River. A truly elegant Dolphin art glass sculpture by the famous italian creators of this well known and prized Murano glass. It shows the green and gold toned Dolphin having jumped in the water and sitting on a section of a wave in clear glass. It has 2 paper stickers. On the dolphins head a sticker reads "Formia Vetri Di Murano made in Italy". On the bottom is a sticker that reads "Murano made in Italy". It also has the artist name etched in the bottom of the base that is written in Italian...

Murano art glass frog. Glass is clear with green waves in the body. It has red dots in the eyes. Not an old piece but a quality piece as all Murano glass is. It measures 5 inches across by 3 1/4 inches high and is in perfect condition.

Known for their crystal and art glass is this Belgium company Val St. Lambert. This is a beautiful free form paperweight resembling a mountain produced by this company. It is etched on the bottom "Val St. Lambert" in script. I believe these pieces were produced in the 1970's. It measures 4 1/4 inches by 3 inches. Condition is excellent.

From the famous glass makers of Italy comes this small Murano Swan. The wings and the beak are clear with the rest in a light purple color. It has the original gold sticker still in place on the bottom with most of the lettering still readable. What can be read reads "Alviati & Co. Venice Made in Italy".
