This beautiful 4.75" vase in the Camellia pattern (also referred to as "Open Rose" by many collectors) was made by Hull Pottery between 1938 and 1950. A shading of soft pink envelopes the top opening and fades into off white through the body, then pale blue at the base . The backside has the same design but the rose is in a deeper pink. Offering this fantastic piece. I have been unable to identify it. The artwork and the glaze is magnificent. On the same order as some early fine Rookwood. It is not signed and I believe it circa around 1900. I would appreciate any information on this very beautiful piece. It stands just under 12" at the lip and is 5.5" wide at the base. Up for your consideration is this very old Spatterware Bowl. This one measures just over 5" across,a size that is rare to come by. The colors are a blue and brown on a cream or beige background. The bowl has a very fine hairline on the inside that does not go through to the outside. I have taken my photo so the hairline is in the dead center of the back portion of the bowl. Overall condition is very good. See all the many other great listings I have for your consideration.
