Offering this child or baby sterling silver cup. As modern cups are very light I estimate this to have been produced approx. 1930's or 40's due to the 3 oz weight. Some small dings on the base but do not distract from the overall appearance. This very small sterling cup has an inside that is gold washed and a leaf design for a handle and hammered look. Signed "Edw.Lan Giovanni Sterling". As I am not familiar with this signature I am also not sure of the age. I can only estimate by the style and assume pre 1950. It is in excellent condition free from any dings or dents. These 3 cups were produced by the Eastern Sterling Co. of New York, N.Y. This company that has been in business since the 1940's specialized in sterling Judaica. Two of the cups are monogrammed. One reads "S.P.M. 4-8-66" and the other "R.M.M. 5-31-66". The third cup which is slightly taller is unmarked. They are all stamped sterling but the 2 monogrammed have the company logo "ESCO" in an oval. The third is made exactly the same but does not have the logo...

This is an absolute adorable baby cup in sterling. Handle has a leaf design and the cup has 2 cut in Oriental baby figures and flower on one side. Cup section measures 2" by 2.5" not counting handle and will hold 3 oz. of fluid. It is in excellent condition no dings. Stamped "Sterling 950" on the bottom. Would make a great gift.
