A 1964 Slim Line Zippo advertising the Winchendon School. It is a coeducational college preparatory school which offers full boarding and day programs that was established in 1926. The lighter has the school logo on one side and the initials P.K.C. It is a used lighter but still in very fine condition. My scan was unable to show the markings on this Slim Line Zippo lighter from 1961. It reads in black lettering "Governors' Conference 53rd Annual Meeting Honolulu, Hawaii June 25-28, 1961". All the lettering is in black and complete. The only reason I can give for it not showing up is that the lighter has a polished finish and I have had this same problem with others similar. A Slim Line Zippo lighter No.1610 High Polish produced in 1968 and mint in mint box. These lighters were produced with an area to receive a monogram. I am sowing lighter and box cover. Zippo lighter produced in 1977 advertising the Circleville Fire Dept. of Circleville N.Y. This Fire Dept. was first organized in 1947 by a group of volunteers and has existed ever since. The Miami Valley Co. of Dayton Ohio was born in 1947 to distribute the Crosley appliances and products. This lighter has seen very little use and is in near mint condition. It is in mint condition measuring 5 3/4 inches high by 4 3/8 inches across. I have another slightly different in style that is also listed. Although features appear to be female I believe this is the male companion of the other listing (414753) I have submitted. Made in Staffordshire England by Sadler is this very attractive one cup teapot. Markings identify it as such. It measures 6 1/4 inches across by 4 inches high. A beautiful 3 color glaze and in excellent condition. The area that appears to be yellowish has a more greenish tint to it. An earlier piece of Murano when gold flecks were still used. Clear glass with an abstract green design and gold flecks spattered about. In a triangular shape it measures approx. 9 1/2 inches by 8 inches at the widest points and is 3 inches deep. A heavy piece weighing 3 pounds. I guess it can be used as an ashtray but also a server of nuts and candy etc. I would estimate it to date back to before 1980. It is in excellent condition with some minor use marks on the small bottom resting area...
