Vintage Spatterwear Spongewear Decanter

Old spatterwear decanter incised on the bottom but very difficult to read "Mohawk R-4 Liquour". I also believe two other letters on the base are US, but cannot be positive. The decanter measures approx. 10 inches tall with the stopper by 5 1inches across at the handle. There is some slight discoloration and crazing but otherwise the overall condition is excellant. I cannot identify the maker but estimate the piece to be definately pre 1920.
