Figurine By Gerold & Co. Chubby Putti W/ Dog & Mouse

Gerold & Co. of Bavaria Germany produced this figurine of a cute little putti with a dog and small mouse. This company has been in existance since the mid 1930's. This is one of their early pieces as they made several different styles showing this same chubby boy with different poses and animals. Mark on the bottom identifies it as around the 1940's. Incised in the bottom is also the number 5555. It measures 5 1/2 inches high and the base is 4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches deep with a gold trim that is in perfect condition. Overall it is in mint condition. A very hard to find figurine of this little boy.
