1950'S ALLIGATOR PURSE MADE IN CUBA

Marked on the inside of the top flap on this vintage alligator purse is "Made in Cuba". These purses were very popular in the 1950's until the alligators became an endangered species. It has stayed in remarkably excellent condition only showing some wear on the strap. The prior owner had not used it for over 30 years as it rested in the closet. It measures 11 inches across by 7 inches high by 3 inches deep. The light section you see near the top of the purse is only glare from the camera.
