SADLER 4 CUP TEAPOT PATTERN THE OLD MILL

John Sadler & Sons of Burslem, Staffordshire, England have been in business since 1899 and were mainly known for their teapots although they produced other fine items. This is a a fine example of their work a 4 cup teapot with the pattern "The Old Mill". The colors are bright and vibrant and the teapot is in excellent condition. It is marked on the bottom with markings that were first used in the late 1940's. This piece was made soon after that mark was first used. It measures 5 inches high by 7 5/8 inches across.
