EARLY HORNSEA POTTERY FAUNA ROYAL SERIES

From Hornsea Pottery came this cute bud vase. It bears the 1950's early Hornsea Pottery mark with the horn & waves. Marked "Fauna Hornsea Pottery reg/d England Royal". Also incised on the bottom is number 48 and on the back the name "Bushy". A series of these animals were produced in the late 1950's to early 1960's. This piece is in perfect condition and measures 4 7/8 inches high by 3 3/4 inches across. I call it a bud vase as there are openings in each of the 2 tree trunks to allow placing of a flower.
